2014 Quilts
I guess it's time that I posted something on this blog since I started it several months ago. I've been 'sew' busy - here are a few that I've done this year. My goal for 2014 is to make at least one quilt a month, using mostly stash. I'm on a self imposed fabric buying ban, but I'm not good at sticking to it. I drive past Hancock Fabrics every day coming home from work and sometimes I can't resist the temptation.
This is a lap size quilt I made as a raffle for the 2014 MS Walk. OK - one more - then I'll add more later!
Actually - two more! These were made for two special girls in my life - sisters, one newborn and the older sister 5 years old. The fabric is an assortment of Moda's me and my sister.
I made this for my great nephew's 3rd birthday in March. The fabric is Oink A Doodle Moo by Jenn Ski for Moda. The backing is from Hancock Fabrics.
